After the success of the Cross Country teams at the District Championships we set off to the Ulster Championships with high expectations and the girls from Strathearn did not disappoint winning both the Intermediate and Mini team events, runners up in the Juniors, 5th in the Seniors and 6th in the Minors.  From all these brilliant performances Strathearn were crowned the Overall Ulster Schools’ Cross Country Champions!!

Congratulations to all the Strathearn athletes who competed in the Co Down District Cross-Country Championships on Thursday 9th February.  There was a new venue this year which meant travelling to Kilbroney Forest Park in Rosstrevor but the new course did not seem to faze our girls.  They were outstanding and Strathearn had a clean sweep bringing home all 5 of the Co Down trophies with some exceptional individual and team performances.
