Amendment to pleated skirt for Forms 4 – U6:
As part of our review of the amendments to our uniform introduced last year and following consultation with parents, we have improved both the guidance regarding length of the skirt and been working closely with our suppliers to improve the durability of the pleats.
As a result, three of our suppliers: Gowdys, Alan Espey and School Days will be selling pleated skirts with the pleats sewn into place as a trial to see if these help to better maintain the look of the skirt, while still providing the advantages of a pleated skirt.
Warnocks will continue to sell the same pleated skirts as last year.
All stockists have amended their care instructions.
We are also aware that the colour of skirts sold by some stockists differs slightly. This should be resolved from September 2012.
