Year 9
Pupils visit the Belfast Synagogue to carry forward classroom learning in Judaism.
Key Stage 4
When appropriate, GCSE full and short Course pupils take part in National Schools’ Film Week – a cinema trip is organised to see a film related to the course of study. Films seen in the past include, ‘The Passion of the Christ’, ‘Vera Drake’ and ‘Amazing Grace’.
The Religious Studies Department in Strathearn has a historical link with the Religious Studies Department in St. Dominic’s School, Falls Road. Periodically the two departments will get together to take Key Stage 4 pupils around local places of Christian Worship.
