Physics GCSE
You can study Physics for a full GCSE or as part of the Double Award Science qualification.
During Year 11, students begin by learning about Motion and Forces. This helps to develop their mathematical and problem-solving skills. In the topic of Energy we learn about the forms of energy and consider the problem of our energy shortage.
In Year 12, pupils will study and investigate the principles of electricity through practical work. Our Solar System and the universe are probed and an awareness of the dangers and uses of radioactivity is developed.
