Physics AS
The AS Physics course currently involves studying some of the topics encountered at GCSE to a greater depth, such as Mechanics, Electricity and Waves. In addition, students will take a module in Medical Physics. This is a fascinating area of Physics where the problems of short and long sight are understood and pupils become familiar with the current methods of medical imaging such as ultrasound and MR scanning.
