Parent’s Gateway
Parents’ Gateway is a computer based tool designed to give parents secure access to individual student data held on the school system. Simple and easy to use, all an authorised user has to do is enter their password to find the information they need. Parents can review everything from their child’s daily attendance and assessment grades through to timetable information and school activities. Parents’ Gateway allows schools to use selected material to help keep parents informed of certain aspects of their daughter’s education.
Strathearn has selected the following features of the Parents’ Gateway facility for functional use:
- Attendance (updated on a weekly basis)
- Assessment (End of Key Stage 3 results in English, Mathematics and Science)
- Contact Information (please ensure that it is up to date)
- Public Examination Data (includes entries and results where appropriate)
- Timetable details (including a list of teachers)
