NICMAC 2017
Congratulations to the Junior and Intermediate dance teams which competed at the Northern Ireland Creative Movement and Aerobic Championships on Friday 10th March.
The Strathearn teams are led and choreographed by our own pupils and they competed against some very talented teams coached by professional dance teachers. The teams have worked hard since September to learn and perfect their routines and all the hard work paid off with the Junior team finishing 3rd in their section. Well done to all the dancers but special mention to their team of coaches from Form 5 – Aife Sansom, Rebecca Black and Sarah McTaggart who have worked tirelessly to get the girls to this level.
The Intermediate Team was led by Ellie Biggerstaff, Evanna Maxted, Sophie Gillespie and Alice Graham from L6. Again these girls choreographed and organised everything themselves and the team finished a very well deserved 2nd place in their section.
These are fantastic results against tough opposition, well done girls!!!!!
