Junior Hockey
Miss Taylor is coach to our Under 14 Hockey teams and practice takes place twice weekly on Monday’s and Thursday’s. An ‘A’ and ‘B’ team have regular Saturday morning fixtures and the ‘A’ team also compete in the Junior Schools’ Cup competition.
Mrs Harvey and Mrs McConnell coach our Under 13 Hockey players. An ‘A’ and ‘B’ team play weekly Saturday morning fixtures. Practice is on a Wednesday and is open to all interested Year 9 pupils. Even if you cannot commit to Saturday matches, but would like to develop your skills you are most welcome.
Miss Taylor and Mrs McConnell also coach our Under 12 Hockey players. A large number of players regularly attend practice on a Friday, to improve individual skills, tactics and to develop team play. Towards the end of the season some match play is provided and a team is selected to take part in the annual Year 8 Tournament.
