Fieldwork
We feel that fieldwork is a vital part of our Geography programme throughout the key stages. The outdoor activities we pursue changes from year to year but those listed below are currently undertaken:
Year 8 – Landuse and shopping survey in Strandtown, East Belfast
Year 9 – River and Coastal Ecosystem study at Crawfordsburn Country Park, Co. Down
GCSE – Urban study in Newtownards, Co. Down
A-Level – River and Urban study based at Magilligan, Co. Londonderry (three day residential).
