Chamber Choir
Strathearn Chamber Choir is enjoying its busiest season ever. In addition to participating in the annual carol service in Stormont Presbyterian Church, a major event in the school calendar, the choir have been invited to lead a special carol service in St Anne’s Cathedral on December 9, in association with the Northern Ireland Prison Service Central Benevolent Fund.
On December 6 the choir members will be participating in the Georgian Christmas celebrations, held at May St Church in Belfast. Next year promises to be very exciting; in addition to preparing for the Spring Concert, the choir has been invited to sing in St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin – an event that everyone is looking forward to. The choir consists of twenty two Senior girls, who meet three times each week for rehearsals, and who aim to achieve the highest possible standard in a wide variety of music.
