About Strathearn School

Strathearn is a grammar school situated in Belfast in Northern Ireland, attended by about 750 girls aged 11-18. The staff and the Board of Governors work together to make Strathearn a community where each individual can belong, be happy, valued and secure, this is embodied in the statement of purpose of the school can be read in blue on this page.
The grounds include sports facilities and pitches for hockey and athletics as well as many mature trees. These surround the front lawn and provide a pleasant physical environment for the work of the school.
The sports hall has facilities for many activities such as gymnastics, badminton, 5-a-side soccer and basketball.
The Preparatory Department Penrhyn is a few hundred yards from the main school.
