Welcome to Strathearn School
I warmly welcome you to the website for Strathearn School. The website will provide you with useful information about the School and keep you up to date with all of our events and the pupils’ achievements.
Strathearn School is an all-girls’ grammar school situated on the Belmont Road in East Belfast. We have a wonderful setting with an extensive range of facilities which are the backdrop to a stimulating academic environment and strong community. Small classes in a school of 770 pupils allow the individual to flourish and grow in confidence; in this way we encourage independence, creativity, intellectual curiosity and team spirit. Strathearn cares about its pupils and believes that strong pastoral relationships are at the heart of a successful education and our pastoral care programmes are designed to promote and support our pupils.
We also offer a range of extracurricular activities that allow the girls to develop their personal skills such as leadership and communication. This equips them for whatever career they choose to pursue in later life.
The website will allow you to explore life in Strathearn School and our Preparatory Department (Penrhyn), and the availability of Boarding Department places in Sixth Form, through our partnership with Campbell College.
Enjoy your visit to our website and please contact the School if you require any further information.
